ONLINE CLASS: Italian Language-Advanced I

$280The Advanced I class is a continuation of the previous series. It stresses Italian conversation.
Marco will also continue with grammar appropriate to the level of the participants. This class will certainly advance your Italian language skills. It is appropriate for those with experience with the Italian language and grammar, or who studied or spoke Italian long ago but have not practiced it in a while.
Marco’s classes are lively and fun. The object of these classes is to learn vocabulary and sentences that will allow you to engage in real-life conversations. There will be plenty of interaction encouraged among the participants during class. The camaraderie is one of the most important features of this group as members grow in the ability to express themselves in Italian.
There will be a continual grammar review as the students practice expressing themselves in Italian. The class will use a variety of verb tenses, continue to build vocabulary, and learn useful Italian expressions and idioms.
Each session will be recorded and sent to you after the class, along with the chat and whiteboard, so you can review the lessons at your own pace later on.
Marco is always on the move, so he will teach either from his home in New York, or his apartment in Milano, or his family home in Vicenza, or his friend’s apartment in Venice, or wherever in the world he is, he’ll zoom in for class each!
Some classes will have exercises for the students to complete at home.
The class is limited to a small group to facilitate conversation and interaction among the students.
Class Dates: 10 sessions on Thursdays: November 6th, 2025 – January 8th, 2026
If you miss a class, non fa niente, you will receive a recording and materials from the instructor.
Time: 1:00 pm Eastern Time (That is 12:00 noon Central time, 11:00 am Mountain time, and 10:00 am Pacific time; 6:00 pm in Britain and 7:00 pm in Europe)

Marco has been teaching Italian for all levels for 20 years. He grew up in Vicenza, in northern Italy, and now lives between Milano and New York. He teaches at Scuola Italiano and part-time at Bocconi, a technical university in Milan.
In addition to his Italian teaching, Marco is a professional ballet choreographer. He won the 2016 Primi Dieci USA Award, under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as one of the ten most influential Italians in the USA.
He’s been one of New York Theatre Ballet’s resident choreographers since 2012. As an Opera choreographer, he has worked extensively in the US and abroad. In 2017, Marco Pelle had his directorial debut with Florida Grand Opera, directing and choreographing Un Ballo in Maschera. In 2018, he became the ballet choreographer of the TV series "Pose".
