There’s Still Tomorrow
Sunday, February 2nd at 4:00PM EST.

Andy Holtzman is thrilled to be back bringing you 3 more interactive Zoom sessions featuring both classic and modern gems from the Italian silver screen.
The first feature of the year is a truly original Italian blockbuster that has yet to premiere in the USA! It is a work of cinematic art destined to become one of the defining Italian films of the year when it opens in the United States next March:
Ćè Ancora Domani / There’s Still Tomorrow.

Andy will be sharing the podium with one of our most popular co-moderators Giuliano Ciabatta.
Greta Gerwig’s Barbie may be the most financially successful movie ever to be directed by a female filmmaker and the highest-grossing film of 2023.
Yet, both Barbie and Oppenheimer were beaten at the Italian box office that year by another film — also written and directed by a woman – singer, actress, writer and now director, Paola Cortellesi, who also stars!
There’s Still Tomorrow is set in 1946, shot in stunning black and white (a nod to classic Italian filmmakers of the period) and tackles the dicey subject of domestic violence – a topic that is particularly sensitive across Italy.
Nonetheless, There’s Still Tomorrow is remarkable in the way it skillfully blends comedy and drama. An ironic, endearing humor pervades the story, drawing you close to its smart, funny, shrewd heroine.
Winner of six Donatello Awards (the Italian Oscars), Cortellesi may be an unknown outside of Italy, but that will not be for long.
Giuliano grew up with Ms. Cortellesi first as a young singer, then comedienne and actress, and has watched her star continue to rise as a beloved multi-talented Italian entertainer. At age 50, Cortellesi’s career is about to go global!
We hope you will join us for a deep dive into the world of Italian Cinema!

Several of our co-moderators will be Zooming in live from Italy to offer an authentic examination of Italian cinematic impact within their country and across the globe.
