Pat Fiorello didn’t start painting until she was 35, but she quickly discovered that, with practice, it was a skill that anyone could master. When she teaches, she wants her students to know that everyone can improve and grow as an artist regardless of age. As a painter, she believes you never run out of things to learn, and it’s the learning that gives you a sense of aliveness that keeps you vibrant, creative, and joyful.

Since 2009, Pat has worked with Michael and Linda to create unique, enriching experiences for her students across Italy.
Pat likes the idea of a cloister, the origin of the name Il Chiostro. Because as one moves around the cloister, they find themselves. Pat feels the same is true for her students; she wants to help them grow as artists and learn about themselves. Many people participating in her workshops finally have time to do something for themselves and discover their creativity. Whether they raised a family, built a career, or both, they’ve reached a point when they can care for themselves and grow.

Pat is a popular and experienced instructor who has been teaching painting for over 25 years.
She is known for her floral paintings which have been exhibited in American Impressionist Society, NOAPS and Oil Painter of America juried shows. As a finalist in the Florals and Gardens challenge, Pat’s work appeared in International Artists magazine and was also published in The Richeson International Still Life and Floral competition book in 2021. Streamline Publishing has produced a full-length instructional video on Pat’s floral painting methods which is soon to be released worldwide.
