Alessandro is a native Italian who grew up with a keen interest in history and natural sciences. Through his own research he has acquired a lot of knowledge on ancient and medieval history. He has written blogs on Etruscan civilization. He was involved in a government project to recover Etruscan artifacts underwater near the ancient harbor of Pyrgi, around Cerverteri. He has a Bachelor degree in Engineering Geology from the University of Rome and a Master degree in Earth Sciences in Geology from Stony Brooks University of New York.
In his career he has worked for various humanitarian organizations, directing projects in providing safe water to remote villages and refugee camps. In the last 25 years of his work, he travelled extensively in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Middle East and many parts of Africa and the Americas. He is currently pursuing more knowledge on wine and has recently founded a small wine trading business.
